Neurofeedback for Addiction and Recovery Support
Strengthening the Nervous System in Recovery
Addiction is not just a behaviour. It is often a response to underlying dysregulation in the nervous system. At NeuroHarmony, we support individuals in recovery with gentle, non-invasive neurofeedback that helps rebuild internal balance, clarity, and emotional stability.

Whether you are early in recovery or working to maintain long-term change, neurofeedback can support your brain’s ability to regulate itself more effectively. It is a safe, drug-free option that complements other therapeutic approaches and fits seamlessly into a holistic recovery plan.

We offer private sessions in a calm, quiet space in Nimman, Chiang Mai, by appointment only.
How Neurofeedback Helps in Recovery
Recovery from addiction involves more than stopping a substance or behaviour. Many people face challenges with stress, anxiety, low mood, impulsivity, or emotional overwhelm, especially in the early stages.

Neurofeedback helps the brain shift out of reactive or survival-based patterns and into a more stable and resilient state. The process works by giving the brain real-time information about its own activity. Over time, this encourages the nervous system to self-regulate more effectively.

Many clients in recovery report:
-
Feeling calmer and less reactive
-
Improved focus and emotional steadiness
-
Reduced cravings or compulsive urges
-
Better sleep and mental clarity
-
A deeper sense of control and internal resilience

What Sessions Look Like
Each session is private, simple, and supportive. You will sit in a comfortable chair while small sensors are placed on your scalp and ears. You will listen to music through headphones while the system monitors your brainwaves in real time.

The music occasionally pauses, sending subtle feedback to the brain. These cues are not noticeable or disruptive, but help your system reset and adjust. There is no stimulation or talking involved.

Sessions last around 35 minutes and can be scheduled flexibly to support your recovery plan.
